$ for Prosecuting Sex Crimes Against Children

Yesterday, the Senate passed HR 3093, the funding bill for Commerce, Justice, and Science (an odd mix), including an amendment by Sen. Gordon Smith of Oregon. That amendment funds an "200 additional assistant United States attorneys to carry out section 704 of the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act of 2006 (Public Law 109-248; 120 Stat. 649) concerning the prosecution of offenses relating to the sexual exploitation of children."
