Conn. Death Penalty Repeal Effort Fails

An attempt to repeal the death penalty in Connecticut was rejected by a vote of 89-49 by that state's House of Representatives, Keith M. Phaneuf and Jenna N. Carlesso report in the Journal Inquirer.
