HLN and AJ-C Get It Right

As noted earlier today, I was on HLN's Special Report with Vinnie Politan about an hour ago.  I have been sharply (and justifiably) critical of much of the press coverage of the Troy Davis execution, but here I want to offer kudos to HLN and to Atlanta Journal-Constitution reporter Rhonda Cook.  Along with all the usual stuff, they pointed out the extraordinary hearing in this case and the judge's finding that the claim we hear over and over about how many witnesses recanted just isn't true.  Well done.

At the beginning of the opinion segment we had an audio problem causing an echo, in case you're wondering why I paused between phrases.
