Problem with signing in with Internet Explorer:

Commenters using Microsoft Internet Explorer may find themselves back at the "sign in" page even after signing in to TypeKey. This occurs because "cookies" are used for the TypeKey sign-in process and Internet Explorer by default blocks cookies it thinks are being directed to a different site. The Internet domain crimeandconsequences.com is hosted on CJLF's site, cjlf.org, so Internet Explorer blocks the cookie needed for the site to know you are logged in.

There are two ways to fix this problem. The first way is to change the settings in Internet Explorer:

  1. Click on the Tools menu on the top bar of Internet Explorer and choose Internet Options from the drop-down menu.
  2. Click on the Privacy tab of the window that pops up.
  3. Click on the Edit button.
  4. Enter cjlf.org in the "Address of Web site" blank and click on the Allow button.

The second method is to dump Internet Explorer and use Firefox as your browser instead.
