In a story in the California Progress Report, Frank Russo predicts that the Senate will waste no time voting to approve the Assembly amendments and send the bill to the Governor's desk no later than next week. Update: Although the AP story said there were 4 no votes, the legislative website says 5: Orange County Republican DeVore joining San Francisco and East Bay Democrats Leno, Ma, Hancock, and Swanson. That is an alignment you don't see every day.
