Dihydrogen Monoxide

The dreaded substance dihydrogen monoxide is in the news again.
Some years back, Penn and Teller sent an earnest young woman to an environmentalist gathering to collect signatures to ban the dreaded chemical dihydrogen monoxide.  She got quite a few.

To show how times are changing, a United States Senator has been seen using this substance.  In public.  On national television.  Wolf Blitzer of CNN asks if this could end his career.

Rush Limbaugh surrendered this morning.  He could not satirize Blitzer.  Satire needs to be a step more ridiculous than reality, and he couldn't find a way to be more ridiculous than Blitzer.
