Cellphone Searches

The US Supreme Court today agreed to take up the cellphone search cases, Riley v. California and United States v. Wurie.  Lyle Denniston has this post at SCOTUSblog.

Hopefully the CJLF will be filing an amicus brief on either or both cases. And hopefully it will propose a solution that is acceptable to at least five justices and adequately protects the rights and safety of the law-abiding public.
