An off-topic note for math geeks.
The
ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter is an irrational
number that cannot be represented exactly in decimals or fractions. It
shows up in a surprising number of places in science. So 3/14/15 at
9:26:54 is a day and time for math geeks the world over to raise a glass
to this strange and wonderful number. (Coffee if a.m., beer if p.m.)

I was at a special ceremony for this at the Griffith Park Observatory last night. I think I win nerd of the week for this.
Hearing no objection, it is so ordered.
