There's a good deal of nose-in-the-air discussion going on about how the police should be held accountable for abusing the rights of citizens.
Police should indeed be held accountable. But the people doing the holding -- virtually all from safety someone else secured for them -- should be required to get up close with a slice of reality they don't see so much at ACLU banquets.
Shooting the police is not a law school hypothetical. This is what it looks like.
