A Dead Fish's Brain and fMRI

fish fmri.jpgQuestion: If you put a dead fish in a brain scanning apparatus and ask it to determine the emotions of humans presented as pictures, will you get a response?  Seem ridiculous?  The superb blog Neuroskeptic has the details.

The fish was an Atlantic salmon. Perhaps postmortem emotion recognition is another amazing property of those omega-3 fatty acids.
